A spot treatment has to be our #1 requested product ever since we launched our moisturizer. So, you asked, we listened! Introducing: Break-Out, your 100% natural, over-night spot treatment.

I wanted to be sure this spot treatment was not only 1) effective but 2) innovative. Sorry, not sorry, but I am like 1000% over seeing the same Calamine spot treatment. Shoutout to Mario Badescu for being innovators and popularizing this amazingly simple and effective formula, but it's been done. No shade (okay, kinda shade), but there are sooo many cool anti-bacterial and anti-microbial ingredients to make an awesome spot treatment.

KEY INGREDIENTS

  1. Zinc Oxide- Zinc has lots of astringent properties, which means it works to dry out acne and inflamed bumps.
  2. Peppermint Oil- This anti-septic, anti-microbial essential oil creates a cooling feeling and helps inhibit those zits and bumps from getting bigger.
  3. Apple Cider Vinegar- ACV is an anti-bacterial ingredient and contains a small amount of naturally occurring AHAs which helps heal breakouts.

Now, when I started formulating with Zinc and making this spot treatment, it instantly turned an opaque white! The first thing I thought of was glue, but then our original packaging didn't workout so I had to re-brand. The next logical step was Wite-Out! So think of this spot treatment like wite-out, for your breakouts. Okay, but really, this spot treatment is jam packed with powerful stuff. So much so, that the whole formula is basically one giant active ingredient. Zinc Oxide, Peppermint Oil and Apple Cider Vinegar are all ingredients that we'd usually add to the base of product, but in the Break-Out, they are the product.

That's because we knew it would only be applied to super small parts of your face, so we wouldn't have to worry as much about irritation like we would a cream or full mask. Also, because we wanted to make sure that after just a few overnight uses, you noticed those bumps were gone.
