85%? Yes. Take a moment to honestly think about the people in your life who have never been affected by acne. It’s literally so normal. And yet, it’s so shunned.
We live in a world where acne, breakouts, and scars are something to be ashamed about. Where if you have texture or bumps on your face, you would rather just tell someone that you’re having an allergic reaction instead of a breakout. A world where, at some point in their life, 85% of people have had to cover up, not go out or try not to bring attention to their skin.
That’s why we wanted to create the SKIN Campaign, because acne is normal. At ROSEN, we’re all about creating clean acne care, but we know that clearing up a breakout doesn’t always mean more confidence. We also know that trying to reach toward some unrealistic skin goal will never allow you to feel truly happy with yourself.
So here’s to skin/acne/scarring/everything positivity because it’s here, it’s real and it’s normal. We’re not saying drop your foundation and force yourself into confidence, we’re just saying life gets a whole lot easier when you look around and realize you aren’t alone. When you’re able to look in the mirror and be genuinely happy with what you see. A day when you put on makeup and notice those bumps or scars showing through and you just don’t care.
Embrace real skin every day of your life and find what your best self looks and feels like.
